Court Record vs BMV

Title 9 is the law area many traffic charges and driver-license consequences come from, but the court docket still controls the filed Crawford case.

Pay or Contest Tickets
Payment and contest options depend on the citation, court status, and whether the matter is a payable infraction or a court-appearance case. MyCase may show financial information and a Make a payment button when online payment is available. If the button is absent, contact the Clerk of the Circuit Court before assuming online payment is allowed.
Payment may resolve the violation and can have driver-record consequences. A person who wants to contest the ticket should not treat the payment screen as a neutral records step. Court staff can answer scheduling and payment-process questions, but they cannot tell a driver whether paying, contesting, or seeking counsel is the best choice.
- Read the citation for court, citation number, appearance date, and any mandatory-appearance language.
- Search MyCase by Citation Number or by name, then filter to Crawford County.
